New Programmable Digital Timer ICs, LS7211N, LS7212N are lower cost versions of LS7211, LS7212
and are 100% backward compatible. The extended feature versions, LS7215, LS7216, respectively, can latch the
Weighting Bits from an 8-bit Bus and also adds an open-drain output to directly drive a Relay returned to a voltage
higher than the chip VDD using one external transistor.

New PIR Interface ICs, LS6511N is a lower cost version of LS6511 and is 100% backward compatible.
The ICs have Low Voltage Detection circuitry that is used to prevent tampering in security system applications.
The LS6512 is identical except that the Low Voltage Detection circuitry has been deactivated extending its
operating voltage range from 3.0V to 6.5V making it ideal for battery operated applications. LS6513 can be used
in any application. LS6513 allows the User to select whether to activate Low Voltage Detection and also adds a selectable
Enable feature. Each IC has an open-drain output to directly drive a Relay and/or an LED returned to a voltage higher than
the chip VDD.

New Quadrature Clock Converter ICs, LS7082N1, LS7083N, LS7084N, LS7183N, LS7184N are enhanced versions
of the existing Quadrature Clock Converter ICs and are backward compatible. The extended Voltage Range for each of
the new ICs is 3V to 12V and each of the new ICs provides selectable x1, x1, x4 output frequency resolution.

New Stepper Motor Controller ICs, LS8297, LS8297CT and LS8397
are designed to control both Bipolar and Unipolar Stepper Motors. LS8297 and LS8297CT are pin-compatible with the popular L297. LS8297CT provides the added functionality of Compensated Torque. LS8397 is an enhanced version of L297 offering selectable Compensated Torque and Holding Torque modes. All of the above ICs reduce quiescent current from 80mA for the L297 to 400uA! All of the ICs are priced lower than the L297.| LS8297, LS8297CT Description & Data sheet | Data

New Reverse-Phase (Trailing-Edge) Continuous Light Dimmer ICs, LS7636, LS7636FO, LS7637 and LS7637FO are designed to interface with the primary of any Electronic Transformer to control low voltage Halogen Lighting and to eliminate the cause of the RFI noise generated by triac based (Leading-Edge) Light Dimmers. The ICs offer three selectable operating modes providing features such as Memory, Direction Reversal and Soft turn-on and turn-off. The ICs are not compatible with magnetic transformers.| Description & Data sheet | Data

New Voltage Controlled Light Dimmer, LS7642 and LS7642FO, are designed for easy control via uC or manual interface. Both turn-on and turn-off are softly ramped up to and ramped down from the illumination set by the control voltage. LS7642 powers up in the OFF condition, LS7642FO powers up at the intensity set by the control voltage. Compatible with magnetic and electronic transformers.
